Our Wines

They are born from, the soil, the climate, our culture and our sense of place here within the landscape.

2014 was a terrific year and the wines have great elegance and poise and these qualities are reflected in this Merlot. The grapes come from Penbro Estate Vineyards situated in the Yea Valley. The grapes were wild yeast fermented and then matured in French oak for 18 months prior to bottling.

Our 2013 Nebbiolo is made from fruit sourced in the Heathcote area of Victoria. It is wild yeast fermented and when finished fermenting is gently pressed to barrel where it matures for 12 months prior to bottling.

Pinot Noir

2014 A great year for Pinot Noir. This wine has elegance, grace and is full of light. The fruit is sourced from the our home vineyard, “Riverslea” and Penbro Estate in the Yea Valley. Following wild yeast fermentation the wine was pressed to French oak barrels where it rested  for 10 months prior to bottling.

Sauvignon Blanc

2015 This is a terrific wine with great structure and poise on the pallet.  The wine was whole bunched pressed directly to barrel and wild yeast fermented. It then spent time on fine lees in barrel. The result is a fuller style wine with great freshness and subtly on the palate. It is a blend of the following ferments; Fluffy Boots, Spanish Lace, Temptation and Mr Georgie Fame. That's right the individual barrels where the wine is fermented have names!
